The Sunflowers earrings were created in 2011, the product of a collaboration between Emanuela Burgener and Giovanni Frangi, one of Italy’s most well-known modern artists, famous for his forests, cloudy skies and more recent water lilies. Pasadena (2008) is a cycle inspired by one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the world, a plant universe depicted with essential signs. Two of these signs, taken from the Sunflowers engraving, have become a unique piece of jewellery of great expressiveness.
